Kaarin Fairfax

Fairfax is an established theatre director, accomplished music artist, and Artistic Director at the The Little Theatre Company. She is best known for Stalk Her (2015), Bed Of Roses (2008), One Night The Moon (2001), Young Einstein (1988), The Harp In The South (1987), Poor Man's Orange (1987), and Starstruck (1982).

She has been nominated for AFI Best Actress awards for Belinda, Poor Man’s Orange, and Harp In The South, and for ARIA’s Best New Talent for Mary-Jo Starr’s Drive-In Motel, Kaarin won the Green Room Award for Outstanding Direction at Melbourne Fringe for Uncle Bob.

Kaarin's father, George Fairfax was an actor, director and the first CEO of The Victorian Arts Centre. Her grandmother, Lilian Joseph, was one of the first female radio announcers in Australia. As a mentor, Fairfax is excited by people’s creativity, passion, dreams and talents and works to help others to realise their brilliance and follow their dreams.
